The Archrock family of companies has been serving the natural gas industry since 1954. The company changed its name to Archrock when it spun-off its global product line and non-US compression rental and compression full servic- es businesses from its US contract compression services op- erations, which retained the Exterran name. Archrock Inc. is a pure-play US natural gas contract compression services business and a supplier of aftermarket services to custom- ers who own compression equipment in the United States. Archrock is headquartered in Houston, USA, operating in the major oil and gas producing regions in the United States, with approximately 1700 employees.
